"I am not exaggerating when I tell you that Yoga & Ayurveda changed my life. I always understood that there exists a connection between MIND~BODY~SPIRIT but what I did not know was how truly POWERFUL it all is. I was born with tibia hemimelia, club foot and missing my right ankle bone. I have had many surgeries, I have many scars, physically & mentally. This was an extremely painful, tough challenging time in my life. At 18 years of age, I had to learn and re-learn everyday skills such as walking. I attended physiotherapy 5 days a week for months. After a year and half of struggle, hard work, blood, sweat and tears, I made it through something that felt never ending. This in tune, inspired me to help others who were going through painful situations. I felt as though I can truly understand "put myself in their shoes". Which inspired me to obtain a diploma in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy and if you know me, you know that I spent my first year of college with a "Taylor Spatial Frame" on my leg. Was I scared sh*tless, heck yes! Was I intimidated and worried, heck yes! Did I do it anyways, regardless of anyone or anything, HECK TO THE YES! Years later, I furthered my education and knowledge of the body with 200hours of Yoga teacher training with Ayurveda fundamentals. It took me a very long time to truly accept and love 100% of myself. I appreciate the simplest things in life because I know they can be stripped from me at any given time. That being said, I feel that self-love is something we all need to cherish every waking moment of our lives. Practicing Yoga & Ayurveda teaches us this. We don't always realize it but, LOVE is truly what makes the world go'round. Without love we have, fear, sorrow, and madness, which eventually leads to illness and disease. Ayurveda is not a fix all diet, it's not a weight loss solution, it's a healthy lifestyle which leads to self exploration, discovery and self LOVE. If there is one key message I would like you retain from all of this is, IF I CAN DO IT, YOU CAN! BELIEVE in your ABILITY to do great things. YOU ARE MAGIC!
SEE YOU IN CLASS!!!
